Like many filmmakers of my time, I started making movies in my early teens with a super-8 camera.
I began my professional career as a visual effects cinematographer at INTROVISION filming models and miniatures and projecting them on multiple screens simultaneously using VistaVision projectors and a beam splitter. This process created instant, immersible sets where actors could actually interact within a fully lit set which you could only see through the camera's viewfinder. One of my first projects was a popular television show called "Team Knight Rider" for Universal Television. Since then I have shot hundreds of TV shows, feature films and commercials. I still continue to do visual FX work (although mostly computer generated) where I combine my lighting and camera skills with the magic provided by a variety of CGI software.
